Chapter Achievements

Programs and initiatives sponsored and supported by the Charlotte Alumni Chapter bring people together to actively build better communities locally and a better world nationally. The central focus of our activities is to enrich the lives of both our members and those who we directly serve.

None of our programs receive local, state or federal funding. These programs are made possible entirely by member contributions and funding from the Kappa Foundation of Charlotte.

Our core programming addresses education, the environment, health, the arts, careers, personal achievement and leadership development. Take a moment to review the information about these programs and initiatives. Feel free to contact us about taking advantage of what we have to offer.

Beautillion Militaire

Beautillion Militaire is a landmark leadership and scholarship program created by Charlotte Alumni’s own Dr. C. W. Williams. Designed for high school seniors, the program provides mentoring, cultural enrichment, leadership training, and college preparation. Participants engage in structured workshops throughout the year and conclude the experience with a formal presentation recognizing their achievements, growth, and talents.

Pack 1911

Cub Scout Pack 1911 is within the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) program designed for boys in kindergarten – 5th grade. Our pack is focused on fun, learning, and personal development. Scouts participate in a mix of outdoor adventures like hiking and camping, community service projects, STEM-based learning, and traditional events like the Pinewood Derby (a model car race), and flag ceremonies. Each activity is designed to promote character building, leadership skills, and teamwork in a supportive environment. Scouts also earn badges and advancements by completing age-appropriate achievements, which keeps them engaged and provides a sense of accomplishment as they grow.

Kappa Kadets

The Kappa Kadets Program is designed to support boys in grades 6 – 8 during a critical stage of development by providing positive guidance, character-building experiences, and exposure to leadership principles. Positioned as a bridge between Pack 1911 and Kappa League, this initiative offers a safe and engaging environment where young men can explore their identities, build self-confidence, and develop essential life skills.
